Joseph M. Turk | Law Clerk*
Joe Turk* is a law clerk in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency Group. A native of Delaware, he joined the firm in 2020 after graduating from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Mr. Turk is an applicant for Delaware’s Limited Practice Privilege, which allows law school graduates to practice in Delaware in light of the cancellation of the 2020 Bar Exam.
Mr. Turk provides support to creditors, debtors, and trustees in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy, restructuring, and litigation matters. He enjoys researching legal issues and conveying his findings in a manner that is easy to understand. During law school, Mr. Turk honed his writing skills as a judicial extern to Magistrate Judge Christopher J. Burke of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, and as an extern for a bankruptcy and corporate law firm in Wilmington.
Before starting law school, Mr. Turk worked in politics, serving on operations teams in The White House and U.S. Department of Commerce.
