On December 13, 2012, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware confirmed the chapter 11 plan of reorganization of JER/Jameson Mezz Borrower I LLC and its affiliated entities. The Jameson entities, owners and operators of 103 hotels located throughout the southern United States, entered bankruptcy following their inability to service their mezzanine debt obligations. Following confirmation of their plan of reorganization, the entities were able to emerge from their proceedings following the successful hotel rebranding and franchising, selection of a new property management agent, and negotiation of forbearance with their senior lender.
The Ashby & Geddes team representing JER/Jameson Mezz Borrower I LLC and its affiliated entities as lead bankruptcy counsel consisted of Bill Bowden, Ricardo Palacio, Karen Skomorucha, and Leigh-Anne Raport.
